Supplementary Admission

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following programmes of Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology, Eleyele – Ibadan.

 

              1.        DIPLOMA FOR ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIANS (Location of training is Satellite Campus, Okeho, Kajola Local                          Government, Oyo State).

    1. Entry Requirements
      1. 4 credit  passes in GCE/WASC or NECO in English, Biology/Health Science and any two of the followings: Mathematics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry and Agric Science, and ordinary pass in any other subject
      2. Holders of Certificate for Environmental Health Assistant (EHA), Dental Surgery Assistants, JCHEW and any other related programmes with two years’ post qualification experience can also apply to be admitted into 200 level provided they fulfill the entry requirement in (i) above
    2. Duration:                 3 years (Six Semesters)
    3. Consideration shall be given to interested candidates among those that scored between 41% and above but could not make the best candidates’ list in their respective courses in the recently concluded Weeding-Out Examination.

    2. DIPLOMA IN HEALTH PROMOTION AND EDUCATION (Location of training is Satellite Campus, Okeho, Kajola Local Government, Oyo State).

    1.  Entry Requirements

                4 credit passes in GCE, SSCE, NECO or Grade II, to include English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science and any ONE (1) subject

    1. Duration:                 2 years (Four semesters)
    2. Consideration shall be given to interested candidates among those that scored between 41% and above but could not make the best candidates’ list in their respective courses in the recently concluded Weeding-Out Examination.

     3. CERTIFICATE FOR HEALTH ASSISTANTS (Location of training is Satellite Campus, Okeho, Kajola Local Government, Oyo State)

    1.  Entry Requirements
      1. 5 O/L passes in WASC or NECO Examination which must include English Language, Biology/Health Science, and any other two subjects. 3 out of the five subjects must be credit passes.
      2. Candidates with lesser qualification but with working experience in the Health sector may be considered.
    2. Duration:                 2 years (Four semesters)
    3. Consideration shall be given to interested candidates among those that scored 40% and below in the recently concluded Weeding-Out Examination.

         4. DIPLOMA IN FOOD HYGIENE (WAHEB)

              1. Entry Requirements (1 year Part-time)

Certificate in Food Hygiene (WAHEB) and Credits in 4 subjects in WASC/NECO/NABTEB Examination which must include English Language, Mathematics or Statistics, Economics, Nutrition or Home Economics, Biology or Agriculture or Health Science, Chemistry,  Basic Electricity and Catering Craft Practice at not more than two sittings

            2.Entry Requirements (3 years full –time)

5 Credit passes Ordinary Level Examination in Maths., Eng., Phy., Biology and Chemistry in not more than two sittings. NECO and WAEC results cannot be combined

           3. Consideration shall be given to interested candidates among those that scored 40% and below in the recently concluded Weeding-Out Examination.

      5. CERTIFICATE IN FOOD PREPARATION / BAKERY & CONVECTIONERIES (NABTEB)

    1. Entry Requirements

              Grade II Certificate or School Certificate attempt

    1. Duration:                 1 year

METHOD OF APPLICATION

  1. Applicants should pay application fee of ten thousand naira only (N 10,000.00) into Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology Account (FCMB Account No. 3123549017) in any of the branches of FCMB
  2. Applicants, with the teller obtained after the payment, are to go to College ICT Centre with their credentials and additional fee of N2,500 (for other charges) to register online.
  3. For candidates that could not make it to their first choice in the Weeding-Out Examination who are interested in any of the above courses should pay Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) for change of Course and go to ICT Centre for registration.
