EXPERT EXPRESSES WORRIES OVER NON-COMPLIANCE WITH COVID 19 PROTOCOL


A member of Oyo state Covid 19 Emergence responses management team and the provost Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology Eleyele Ibadan sanitarian Siji Ganiyu has expressed worries and concern over non compliance with Covid 19 precautions by members of the community.
Addressing the staff and emergency response team constituted by the College in complimenting Oyo State Government effort at containing and preventing the spread of the dreadful inflammatory disease he said Corona Virus is real going by its current scourge.


He however expressed disappointed at what he described as people’s non challant attitude towards observing Covid 19 protocols and guidelines in Ibadan, Oyo State capital in particular and across the state in general .
The Provost called for the enforcement of Covid 19 guidelines by security agencies and ensures that culprits are accordingly punished to serve as example to others.


He noted with dismay that Coronal Virus which had claimed lives of several eminent Nigerians should not be trivialised or down played warning that peoples negligence and lukewarm attitude may lead to contracting the dreadful disease.
Sanitarian Siji Ganiyu advised people to always put on nose masks, use sanitizer, wash hands at all times and avoid crowded environment to remain safe at this critical period of coronal virus pandemic. The Environment Health expert commended Governor Seyi Makinde Oyo State for doing his best for taming Covid 19.
He however explained that Oyo state college of health science and technology Eleyele Ibadan hand partnered with Seyi Makinde Administration on to minimize the Covid 19 case index as he lamented that some ignorant individuals still do not believe that corona virus is real Sanitarian Siji Ganiyu said waging war against the spread of the virus remains a joint responsibility of government and the good people Oyo State.
